A very large pale blue willow pattern platter made around 1930. Incorporating all the elements of the traditional story, it also has an intricate chinoiserie border around the wedge. This slightly scalloped, oval shape is unusual in a plate of this size. This worn and weathered piece would add instant age and texture to your decor. 
Dimensions: 44cm × 36cm
Condition: crazing throughout and some staining. One crack at the top, which is more visible on the reverse. 
There is some wear to the gilding around the edge.
