This small vintage bone china plate is painted in the popular 'Derby Posies' design. Designed as a butter pat, it makes a beautiful addition to a breakfast or tea set. Sprays of handpainted flowers with a scalloped and gilded edge also make it elegant enough for a dressing table trinket dish or a charming soap dish. 
Royal Crown Derby have been making bone china since 1750 and are a prestigious British brand. This design is discontinued.
