This highly decorated transferware platter has a brown transferware floral design around a central design of pheasants. 
This Palissy design was first produced for large Edwardian households where dinners would include a game course from the attached estate. Pheasant shouts rim from 1st October to 1st February, so these dishes would be in use through autum and winter. Now, this design is perfect for creating a cosy vintage country cottage or farmhouse decor.
