This Sowerby dish (Pattern no. 2644), is part of the company's collection of Depression Era pressed glass. These bowls have all the art deco flair of the 1930s with a simple but elegant rim design of repeating balls and four feet.
John Sowerby established his glassworks in 1846 and the company kept trading under different names until 1972.
